Original situation:

This luxury group already owned offices in Shanghai and wanted to expand their operations in order to create a customer service call center. This is a challenging project as there can be many simultaneous conversations in a confined space. Therefore, controlling the noise level and speech intelligibility requires careful design.

What we implemented:

We conducted an acoustic study to define the right solutions to solve reverberation issues. We then provided the materials to the GC to integrate smoothly during the construction works.

Conclusion

A combination of multicolored small tiles was chosen by the designer to integrate into wall frames and to replace part of the ceiling tiles, allowing the sound absorbing materials to be distributed all across the space.
